The purpose of this training is to build the capacity for newstate trainers who have attended universal training and now want to become a trainer. Participants should possess good communication skills and have experience with implementing SWPBS.

At this event, SWPBS trainers from across the state will receive the most updated training materials and the latest training protocol. Participants will also be given successful tips and strategies for guiding school teams through the PBS process.

COMMITMENTS
SWPBS trainers should be able to:
• Participate in a one-day SWPBS Training of Trainers.
• Participate in a one or two day Trainers’ Institute annually.
• Provide at least 2 days of training for schools new to primary SWPBS.
o Each training session is led by a veteran SWPBS trainer who will provide support and feedback to the new trainers.
o Training may be done in tandem with the trainer’s LEA District plans, but must include training schools from other LEAs. This is designed to build the capacity at the regional level.
