A PBS facilitator/coach supports a school PBS team by assisting efforts and helping to ease and smooth the implementation process. They also ensure the fidelity of implementation at the school. A facilitator/coach is a liaison between the PBS District Coordinator and the school-based PBS team.
Commitments of a PBS Facilitator/Coach:
1. Attend and participate in training and meetings (District Level & School-Based)
2. Facilitate teams using a problem-solving model and aid in communication between all stakeholders (school team, administration, students, parents, community)
3. Assist in identifying team member roles (agenda, recorder, timer, data, behavior principles)
4. Guide implementation efforts with fidelity (monitor progress, assist in action planning)
